Yes. The Free version is fully functional with no time limits, watermarks, or hidden charges. It includes unlimited clients, secure file sharing, custom branding, and folder organization. Pro adds advanced features for agencies and growing businesses.
Where is my data stored?
All client files, passwords, and settings are stored on your own WordPress server. Filevue does not use external clouds or third-party services. You retain complete control and ownership of your data, which makes GDPR compliance straightforward.
Will it work with my theme?
Filevue is tested with popular themes including Hello Elementor, Astra, GeneratePress, and the default WordPress themes. The portal uses scoped styles to prevent conflicts. If you spot a styling issue, we usually fix it within a release or two.
How secure are client passwords?
Client passwords are hashed using WordPress's secure password hashing functions. Sessions are nonce-protected, and all admin actions require capability checks. Filevue follows WordPress security best practices throughout.
Can I upgrade from Free to Pro later?
Absolutely. All Free version data, clients, and files migrate seamlessly to Pro. There is no reconfiguration needed and no risk of data loss when upgrading.
What happens if I uninstall Filevue?
By default, your client files and settings are preserved when uninstalling, so you can safely deactivate or update without data loss. There is also an opt-in setting to wipe everything if you prefer a clean removal.
